Volunteer Veteran Mentors
Dear Rutgers Colleague,
Thank you for considering to be a volunteer for the Rutgers Veteran Mentoring Program. Rutgers New Brunswick University College Community in conjunction with the Camden and Newark campuses continues to offer a Volunteer Veteran-Mentoring program. We are therefore recruiting Rutgers faculty, staff, alumni and friends who are veterans or military family members as volunteers in order to share, encourage, and provide support to Rutgers Veteran and dependent of Veteran students.
The primary purpose of the program is to provide Veteran students with much needed support, advice and guidance in order to help their academic goals; assist veterans who encounter difficulty in adjusting to campus life; assist with recruitment and retention and facilitate access to student-service support.
