Returning University College-New Brunswick (UC-NB) students are required to re-enroll with the new School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) and are encouraged to affiliate with the University College Community in order to ensure a smooth reentry to Rutgers University. All returning students must complete a reenrollment application in its entirety. Student reenrollment will be considered by the School of Arts and Sciences, who will notify students about the status of their application.

Reenrolled students may remain under the degree requirements in effect at the time of their acceptance if they have 60 credits or more, a declared major, and they have completed all of the general distribution requirements for their previously attended college. If these conditions are not met, students will be required to complete the new SAS degree requirements. UC-NB students may elect to convert their liberals arts requirements to the new SAS degree requirements upon re-enrollment.
