Jane OatesRosalyn (Roz) is a 1989 graduate of University College, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with High Honors. Subsequently, Roz attended Seton Hall Law School, graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 1994. During her studies at Seton Hall, Roz participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic, becoming the Student Director in her second year.

Roz passed the Bars for New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 1994 and was admitted to practice in both jurisdictions, as well as in the U. S. District Court in that same year. She became a Law Clerk for the Honorable Graham T. Ross, Presiding Judge of the Family Part following graduation from Seton Hall. Roz was admitted to practice before the U. S. Supreme Court in 1998.

She earned her divorce mediation certificate from Rutgers, Division of Summer Session and Continuing Studies in 1995, and has been an accredited Family Law Mediator with the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators since 2002. Commencement Procession Line (Marshalling)

MARSHALLING OF DEGREE CANDIDATES: Certified degree candidates should report to the marshalling area located in the RAC no later than 5:30 pm to ensure proper check-in and to make certain all candidates will be lined up alphabetically.

You will be issued a unique marshalling number at check-in. This indicates your name and the type of conferred degree. For example, BA 264 means that you will be the 264th candidate in line for receipt of the Bachelor of Arts degree.

All candidates are required to have a marshalling card for photography purposes and will be required to write their names for the announcer. When you arrive at the RAC, University College Marshals will be present to help you find the correct group and to put you into the correct order. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible.

I (or my guests) have a disability and need special accommodations.

Students and guests will be assisted by the staff at the RAC. If you would like more information, please email ucc@rci.rutgers.edu.
