Adult & Nontraditional Student Orientation
The University College Community is hosting an Adult and Nontraditional Student Orientation on Saturday August 22, 2009 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Allison Road Classroom Building. Learn about the University College Community programs and services; academic opportunities at Rutgers-New Brunswick/Piscataway; balancing personal life and discovering campus life resources for adult/nontraditional students. Adults and nontraditional students are dispersed throughout the New Brunswick campuses and can include students who are: returning after an absence, veterans, 25 years of age or older, attending part-time or fulltime, non-matriculated; commuters; employed fulltime and students who may not be afforded the opportunity of a traditional college experience. NOTE: Adult and Nontraditional students are not expected to register and attend the Rutgers University Summer Orientation Program offered to traditional students throughout the summer.
As a last opportunity to prepare our busy students, we are preparing to provide one-stop service opportunities for same day Photo IDs, email set-up, hands-on tutorials and adult networking. Please RSVP for this event. |
